The Rehire Date field appears on the employee profile, in the Compensation tab.
A Rehire Date will automatically be filled in if an employee who has been Terminated is reactivated. If there are multiple reactivations, the most recent active date will be used in this field.
If an employee returns from a leave of absence, the Rehire Date will not be set upon their return as they are still considered employed during the leave period.
This field can also be manually updated by clicking the Edit button.
Note: When manually updating the Rehire Date field, please be aware that reports, payroll instructions, and/or payroll triggers may also be affected if this field is used in the calculation.
