Written Language vs Communication Language
On your employee's demographics tab, there are 2 language settings you can set.
Written Language - refers to the form language that will be used for your employee's T4s, Record of Employment, ESOEs. The default setting is English. French is another option.
Communication Language - this is not a mandatory field and is more for your knowledge. Select from Not Selected (default), American Sign Language, English or French.
